Protect Your Roof, Protect Your Home
Roof Washing stops algae and moss before they cause costly damage
That’s Not Dirt on Your Roof — It’s Algae
If you’ve noticed streaky green or black marks on your roof, it’s more than just an eyesore. It’s algae called Gloeocapsa Magma.
This algae feeds on the limestone in your shingles and spreads by airborne spores from house to house. Left untreated, it slowly weakens your shingles, shortens your roof’s lifespan, and gives your home a dirty, aged look. Beyond appearance, untreated algae can hurt curb appeal and reduce property value.
Our soft wash roof cleaning process stops the problem at its source. We use a low-pressure, environmentally friendly solution designed to kill algae, mold, and other contaminants without damaging your shingles.
Cleaning your roof is a smart investment: it costs only a fraction of premature replacement. We’ll provide a custom quote based on your roof’s size, pitch, and cleaning needs. Compare cleaning costs to the expense of a new roof, and cleaning it just makes sense.

This was the first time I’ve used the services of I Do Windows. We had our windows cleaned inside and out as well as having our sidewalk, driveway and patio power washed. I highly recommend this company. Isaac noticed our concrete front porch needed cleaning so he also power washed the porch. We have brick & cement lamp posts at the end of our driveway. The top was as bad as the driveway so he also cleaned those. Jared cleaned our windows inside and out. We didn’t want our screens on the windows so he removed those for us. Isaac and Jared are the best! Thank you for your great customer service!!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Our experience with I Do Windows was beyond excellent from the start! The estimator who came out to check our decks, patio, and driveway was very professional and pleasant. He took his time to map everything out and explain the process. We had an itemized quote from the company the very same day, allowing us to pick and choose which areas to have cleaned with zero pressure to have it all done. Issac came to do the actual cleaning and was PHENOMENAL! Our driveway hasn't looked this bight since we had it poured 25 years ago! The patio looks brand new, and the deck is perfectly clean. I wish I had taken "before" pictures, because the transformation was unbelievable. Thank you to all at I Do Windows, especially Issac for your professionalism and hard work. I'd put an "I Do Windows" sign in my yard any day!

Our Proven Roof Washing Process
Our roof washing process safely removes stains, algae, and moss without damaging shingles or risking your roof’s warranty. It’s designed for long-term protection and curb appeal.
Inspection – We evaluate your roof’s condition, identifying any problem areas and confirming that roof cleaning is right for your roof.
Preparation – Landscaping, trees, wood surfaces, and other sensitive areas are carefully protected before we begin, ensuring your property is safe throughout the cleaning process.
Application – Our eco-friendly cleaning solution targets algae, mold, and organic buildup at the root.
Dwell Time – The solution is given time to fully kill contaminants and lift stains without harming your roof.
Rinse & Review – We rinse carefully and apply a protective plant wash to landscaping that may need extra support. Afterward, we send you our Limited 5-Year Warranty, showing that we stand behind our work and your roof’s protection.
When is it time to clean your roof?
Your roof protects your entire home, but over time black streaks, moss, algae, and lichen can take hold. These aren’t just cosmetic issues, they trap moisture, weaken shingles, and shorten your roof’s lifespan. The good news: our professional roof washing process removes these growths safely, without risking shingle damage or voiding your warranty.
Signs It’s Time to Schedule a Roof Cleaning:
Black streaks running down shingles (algae feeding on limestone)
Green moss in shaded or damp areas
Lichen or mold patches along the surface
Roof looks dull or discolored compared to neighboring homes
Preparing to sell and want maximum curb appeal
Why Acting Now Matters
Left untreated, algae and moss spread quickly, breaking down shingles and leading to costly repairs or even premature roof replacement. Your home is your most valuable asset, protect it by keeping your roof healthy and looking its best.
The Advantages of Roof Washing
Many homeowners don’t realize how much a dirty roof can impact their home. But the benefits of roof washing go far beyond looks:
Extends roof life by stopping algae, moss, and lichen before they cause decay
Prevents costly repairs and reduces the need for premature replacement
Maintains energy efficiency by removing heat-trapping buildup
Protects against water damage so your roof functions as it should
Boosts property value if you’re planning to sell your home
At I Do Windows, we believe you deserve to love the way your home looks and have confidence in how it’s protected. Let us restore your roof and your peace of mind with expert roof washing you can trust.
